This week’s #WOW is 3 sets of couplets done for 3 rounds each focused on strength followed by 3 movements for conditioning.
With the focus on strength, you can consider doing 3 rounds of 8-6-4 on the barbell movements. Each round of the barbell movements would go down in reps as the weight goes up to a place that feels like a big reach. The accessory movements in the couplet would always be 10 reps done as heavy as possible for each round to complete the reps.
The couplets are as follows:
deadlift and ring rows
front squat and dumbbell strict press
thruster and pendlay row
The conditioning piece ends with 21,15,9 of calories on the rower, burpees and KB swing snatches.
