PROJEKT MARINA 🇪🇸 5 mesiacov - 10 kíl • Marina cvičila vyše tri roky sama. Výsledky si veľmi nesledovala, avšak neboli nejak výrazné. Asi aj preto ma pred 5 mesiacmi oslovila, aby sme spolu pracovali. • 💪Má rada silové treningy, preto som sa snažil zostavovať naše hodiny práve s dôrazom na silové cvičenie, avšak taktiež sme zaradili nejaké viac kondičné veci. Trénovali sme 2x týždenne, sama si pridávala ešte hodinu v posilke cez víkend. Žiadne šialené hodiny kardia. Silový tréning, zvýšený príjem bielkovín, rozumná strava. • 🍎Stravu sme nastavili na istý počet kalórií s daným pomerom makroživín. Po 1-2 týždňoch nahadzovania sa naučila flexibilnému stravovaniu. Vedela, že ak jeden deň trošku preženie, v dalších trošku uberie. Nič hrozné sa nedeje, žiadne zlyhanie. Niekedy sa vyskytol výlet a podobné záležitosti, kde sa tá strava ustriehnuť veľmi nedá. Nenahadzovala si každé jedlo, každý deň, ale po čase vedela, čo si môže dovoliť a čo radšej nie. Podľa jej vlastných slov je nahadzovanie jedla po určitom čase veľmi jednoduché a praktické. • ⤴️Šla hore nielen silovo, ale aj kondične. Dokáže robiť veci, ktoré si predtým ani nepredstavila. ⤵️Jediné, čo šlo dole, je váha, tuk a obvody telesných partií. 🎯 Najbližším cieľom je rúčkovanie na preliezkach-to síce trochu potrvá, ale určite to dáme. • Za 5 mesiacov (Od 20. marca do 20. augusta): ⚖️schudla 10 kíl • Doslova sa mi stráca pred očami, najvýraznejšie v driekovej oblasti, veď pozri: -Prsia -5 cm -Boky -7 cm -Pás -8 cm -Stehno -8,5 cm -Lýtko -4 cm -Biceps -3 cm • Na Marinu som veľmi hrdý. Ako na jej výsledky, tak aj prístup. Počúvala moje rady a stále sa chcela zlepšovať. Celý proces ide pekne pomaly, rozumne ale hlavne udržateľne. Proste maká, flexibilne drží stravu a chce. This was an unbelievable feeling. Running down the rest carpet and seeing my name in the lights over the finish was surreal. The race itself was tough (obviously). Open water swimming is mental, and I came out with a lovely salt water burn on the back of my neck as well as swimming way further than I needed to... improvements for next time though right?! Unsurprisingly I loved the cycle, the course was beautiful and cycling for 30km up the coast was incredible. By the time I got to the run, I felt like superwoman. And then the run started.... 5km in I started to get dizzy and began panicking (genuinely my lungs felt like someone was holding them closed). I still had 37km left to run. Many many salted crackers and cups of cola later, I was into the last 20km and everything melted away. The final 2 hours flew by, and coming round that corner onto the red carpet, all was forgotten. 12 months ago I swore I would never run a marathon. On Sunday I ran a marathon after swimming 3.8km and cycling 180km. 💢Injury Prevention💢 • Just my thoughts on the term... Basically, i believe its IMPOSSIBLE for athletes to "prevent" injury • You have to remember injuries come due to all sorts of scenarios.. impacts, contusions, strains, poor mechanis, overtraining, genetic predispositions etc • Now, the most "preventable" injury, the one which the individual has the most control over, I would argue is soft tissue injuries, or muscle strains • Here's where i think "injury prevention" really is a false term • Even though we can train and complete recovery protocols, myofascial release, mobility, hydrotherapy, band work activation, etc • These methods DO NOT "prevent" injuries... they actually serve the purpose of REDUCING your chances of getting injured • However, if you truly want to reduce the likelihood of getting injured you cannot go past STRENGTH • The stronger you are, the better you will cope with the demands of your sport, the more resilient you'll be, the faster you will recover and the less likely you will get injured • The point though is I really want to advocate, "Injury Reduction" as a way more suitable term that people need to understand • Theres always just too many internal and external things that can contribute to someone getting injured.. so I say get strong, train quality over quantity, train with intent, work hard, recover well and follow all the appropriate structural programming and processes which are implemented, that way ➡️ you will REDUCE your chances of getting an injury • Because lets face it, injuries are inevitable... ------ #strengthandconditioning #strengthcoach #fitness #asca #injuryreduction #rehabilitation #prehabilitation #beresilient #injuryprevention #exercisescience #training #technique #athleticdevelopment #sportsscience #gains #gym #sportsinjury #healthandfitness #recovery

Slowly getting better at these muscle ups, not getting as much practise in as I’d like to at the minute but only myself to blame. Going to have to really start applying myself better if I want to improve at a better rate. I’ve been tinkering with a bit of squat snatch and squat clean lately too, really just trying to brush up technique and slowly add weight as I go.
