This chronic pain is wearing on me. It's been every day for almost 3 years. My foot Dr did have a breakthrough, realizing my PF is caused by my wonderful career choice, and not running. I was happy about that. He also cleared me to exercise; however, no high impact, including running. To be honest, I'm not even that bummed about running. I just want to feel better, even a fraction of the screaming pain.
I'm entitled to my emotions; whether they are good or bad, happy or sad. I was sad on Tuesday. I'm in a much better place now. #acceptance So, I'm going to keep showing up in the ways my body allows. My goal is still Nov 1st, but maybe running one minute is a better goal for December. Only time will tell, and I'm along for the journey, because I know one day I'll be back on the roads doing what I love most.
